Plus style is, in simple terms, tricks done left-handed with a right-handed setup. The string runs from the slipknot on the right hand over to the left hand, where the trick is then done in reverse, as though the left hand were the origin. Unless you're left-handed, in which case just give up.

A common example would be the brother mount, which is a plus-style trapeze. A less-common example would be the -1.5 hook, which is a plus-style Hidemasa hook.

Plus style can be used as an alternative to doubling stuff up, and in some circles is a popular way to increase the difficulty of a trick without significantly changing its makeup.
