In March of 2010, John Ando posted a video featuring his trick Circular Eli hops. While doing standard [[Eli hops]], he twisted his body around, changing the angle of the trick, until he had twisted all the way around to where he started.

The trick was a hit. Lots of peeps started doing it, and [[cross-pollination | applying]] the "circular" concept to other tricks. [[Bucket]] [[hop | hops]], [[beesting | beestings]], and so on.


The concept had been around since long before 2010, though. [[staircase | Staircases]] use it and, considering John's considerable [[2A]] experience, are likely to be where he got the idea.
